Growing up in an urban environment looking west to the Rocky Mountains, L.A. based vocalist, producer & DJ Fi Sullivan emerges from augmented & experimental realms, as well as her natural surroundings.  The artist’s sound is layered vocals traveling a three octave range mapping subtle bass & pulsing beats - the sweet surreal inspired by the natural world.

Fi recently performed with San Holo & Daktyl for Coop Records’ Midnight Diner L.A.(listen to Fi’s onchain releases w/ Coop Records) & opened for King Princess (Belly Up Aspen) & Daniel Allan (headline tour).  The artist recently performed at Winston House Venice for their Out of the Blue series, Coco Club for Covex’s Release Party, Hotel Cafe for BMI’s L.A. showcase, & NeueHouse Venice Beach.  Other highlight shows include sets at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Larimer Lounge Denver (sold-out NYE headline), 1 Hotel South Beach, & opening gigs for Forester, MEUTE, and Summer Salt.  Fi is also a TEDx MileHigh musician & Sofar Sounds artist with performances for Sofar London, NYC, L.A., DC, Miami, & Denver.

The artist currently composes & codes experience design for the arts & research lab, Chromasonic, in Venice (additionally, Fi’s vocals were used in Chromasonic x Google Installation for Milan Design Week) while also coding her newest hybrid dj set in Ableton Live & Max MSP with motion controlled visuals, vocal effects & flowers.

Before moving to LA, Fi embarked on a worldwide journey from Europe & Greenland to Australia & South America in 2019 as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow exploring & performing at intersections of technology & human vocal continuity - including performances at the Nuuk Nordisk Kulturfestival in Greenland & the Australian National University in Canberra. The spectrum of microclimates & biomes Fi experienced inspired her soundscapes to grow into new spheres of dreamy biomorphism.

The Denver born artist received her degree in computer science & music from Middlebury College with additional music computing studies at Goldsmiths College, UCL, Berklee College of Music, Valencia, & CCRMA, Stanford. In addition to performing in Nuuk & Canberra, Fi performed in Berlin, Dublin, & The Hague during her Watson Fellowship.
